In 1991 James Green , professional herbalist of over thirty years, wrote and published the first edition of The Male Herbal, the first and only herbal healthcare book for men and boys at the time. It is currently a classic work and has sold over 75,000 copies. In 2007 James fully revised and published the second edition of this popular herbal.
Added to the 2nd edition is a chapter outlining a Western constitutional model for both men and women to refer to for better understanding and appreciation their unique physical and emotional bodies. This knowledge and insight greatly assists an individual to better select appropriate medicinal and tonic herbs, dietary nutrition, and lifestyles that can promote a high quality of health, enhance the digestion and immune systems, restore and maintain metabolic balance, and heal maladies.
James has updated the in-depth information on the seventy two herbs discussed in the book and has keyed each one to the constitutional model. Amongst many other topics included in the second edition are discussions of herbal health care for the heart and circulatory system, the immune system, reproductive system, herbal viagras: the safe aphrodisiacs, fertility, longevity, and enhancing the pleasures of life for both male and female reference.
